Making an EVENT Function for Status

Idea name: COMMUNITY EVENTS

Description: STATUS needs an EVENT function, where a Community Creator can run Events for their Community Participants* either inside the Community, or perhaps outside the Community as a stand-alone function. See https://lemonade.social/ for exactly what I’m talking about. It’s basically a web3-enabled MeetUp.com. In Status it would be better as Status is a fully distributed application (AFAIK).

Use case: As a user, I want to hold events so that Community Participants can potentially meetup IRL and even be rewarded for such interaction as the Event could be Token-Gated in Status.

Target user: Everyone!

Why this is important: We’re still Human and should be interacting IRL sometimes. It would also potentially provide a means for Community Participants to earn an income via airdropping upon successful attendance/work at an Event.

Any other comments: *All references to Member in Status should be changed to Participant. “Member” has a static connotation. Participant has a dynamic connotation. Communities are dynamic structures.
