When a new version or update is available for the Desktop app the user is running, the user recieves a notification modal and option to click and update.
As a user I want to see a notification that prompts me to update my desktop app to the latest version.
Targets all users.
Why this is important:
Users are required to re-download the app via the website, which is less than ideal.
