Blank out app preview screen when switching apps on mobile

So when I have Status running in the background on android (not sure about iphone but I’d imagine it’s the same), and go to app switch view, I can see all messages. Other secure messengers (like briar) blank this preview screen for privacy reasons.

I’d like Status to do the same, optimally I’d like this to be a user setting.
