I created this presentation on how to build open source communities for the Incubate projects - perhaps it can be useful for Status org too.

It’s mostly a collection of best practices, tips and tricks from various sources + a case study of a company Rasa.ai and their open source project called Rasa NLU (natural language processing tool for chatbots). I used to freelance for them and helped them with open source community building when they had 8 contributors and set out to grow the contributor base to +100 contributors. They reached this goal by now by implementing all these steps.
