There is no chat history synced between clients? I’m logged in on Android and the desktop client and I’m not seeing the same chat history?
We’re currently seeing some issues with syncing with mail servers meaning that you might only be receiving real-time messages, but normally yes, the client app will retrieve messages from the last 24 hours from the mail server and you should see the same messages on both devices.
