Sure, they don’t make it obvious but you can download the latest releases on github. Here’s how:

  1. Go to Status apps

Status-Make-the-jump-to-web3

  1. Click on Developers
  2. Click on Repos (takes you to GitHub)
  3. Go to status-desktop
  4. Click on Releases (right hand bar)
  5. Expand Assets section
  6. Download the binary for your platform
