I think Status should remove the Terms of Service, and stop making users agree to it in order to use the app. It’s peer-to-peer, anything and everything will happen, so making users sign an agreement that limits what they can do in a peer-to-peer network seems kinda… odd…
You don’t have to sign it, you can always compile your own version with it removed, but the vast majority of users wont, and some of them feel uneasy having to agree to a long document like the TOS.
