1. Multi-Network Support (L2s & Other Chains)
Idea name: Multi-Chain Portfolio Management
Description: Expand wallet support beyond Ethereum Mainnet to include popular Layer 2 networks (Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon) and other major EVM-compatible chains. Users should be able to toggle between networks and view/send assets from each within the same extension.
Use case: As a user, I want to manage my assets across multiple chains in one place.
Target user: Cross-Chain traders
Why this is important: Ethereum L2s are where most activity and value now live. Without multi-chain support, the wallet becomes irrelevant for the most of the active crypto users.
Any other comments: This should be priority 1st for the next beta release. Consider adding network auto-detection and balance aggregation for a unified [Total Value] view.
2. Token Visibility Toggle
Idea name: “Declutter My Wallet” Filter
Description: Add a toggle/slider to hide tokens below a user-defined USD value threshold (Example: ‘Hide tokens worth less than $1.00’). Optionally, allow hiding by token category (Example: meme coins, spam tokens).
Use case: As a user, I want to hide low-value/irrelevant tokens from my portfolio view so that I can focus on meaningful assets.
Target user: Everyone - especially users who’ve received lot of airdrops, participated in many protocols OR been targeted by spam token campaigns.
Why this is important: Portfolio clarity = better financial decisions. A cluttered wallet full of $0.02 tokens creates confusion and reduces trust.
Any other comments: Consider a ‘Show hidden tokens’ button for transparency. Default threshold could be $1.00.
3. Export Portfolio Data (CSV/PDF)
Idea name: Portfolio Snapshot Export
Description: Add an ‘Export’ button to the Assets page that lets users download their current portfolio as a PDF/CSV file, including columns for Token Name, Balance, Current Price, Total Value, and % of Portfolio.
Use case: As a user, I want to export a clean, timestamped record of my holdings so that I can use it for tax reporting, personal finance tracking, investment reviews OR sharing with financial advisors.
Target user: Tax filers, serious investors, portfolio managers, crypto accountants, Grant/Funding applicants.
Why this is important: Manual screenshotting is unprofessional. A native export function adds legitimacy and utility, positioning Status Wallet as a tool for responsible crypto management.
Any other comments: PDF for readability/sharing, CSV for spreadsheet analysis. Add date/time stamp and wallet address to footer[Important]
4. Price Alert Notifications
Idea name: In-Wallet Price Alerts
Description: Allow users to set custom price alerts for any token in their portfolio. When triggered, show a browser notification (OR notification sounds immobile app). Example: ‘Alert me if ETH > $5,500’ / ‘LINK < $5.
Use case: As a user, I want to get notified when a token hits my target price so that I can act quickly on trading, buying, or selling opportunities without constantly monitoring charts.
Target user: Traders, meme coin degens, anyone with pending buy/sell strategies.
Why this is important: Proactive alerts turn a passive portfolio viewer into an active trading assistant. It increases user engagement and retention while delivering real-time value.
Any other comments: Browser notifications only. Later, integrate with mobile via Status app.
